Kawasaki Ninja 300 has been one of the most desirable sub 350cc supersport in India. It is currently the only multi-cylinder supersport in this displacement class as Yamaha R3 and Benelli 302R are out of the chat. Other rivals for the Ninja 300 are all single-cylinders and Green Twinner enjoys the niche.
The formula of Ninja 300 has worked out well for Kawasaki India and the company has just updated it for 2027 model year. There are not a lot of changes with MY27 Ninja 300 and the price tag for this twin-cylinder supersport is Rs 3.34 lakh (Ex-sh).
2027 Kawasaki Ninja 300
For 2027 model year, Kawasaki Ninja 300 has been updated to keep the product fresh and to keep the order book ringing. 2027 Kawasaki Ninja 300 has been priced at Rs 3.34 lakh (Ex-sh) and the purchasing decision is one of the simplest as there are no variants of this machine and there is just one colour to choose from.
The sole colour option is Lime Green which is a staple colourway for Ninja 300 ever since it was launched in India. The Lime Green colour is complimented by White and Blue contrasting stripes that run neatly from the fairing into the stepped rear seat. Above these stripes, we can see Ninja branding and below, we have 300 branding.
Where updates with 2027 Kawasaki Ninja 300 are concerned, there seems to be a new tyre pattern with the motorcycle. Other than that, 2027 Kawasaki Ninja 300 is exactly the same as before and even the Candy Lime colourway is identical to 2026 Ninja 300. The Candy Lime Green / Ebony colourway with 2026 Ninja 300 is discontinued as well.
We wished Kawasaki experimented with colours on Ninja 300. There were two Green Ninja 300 within my friends group during the engineering days and both of them yearned for the White colourway, which was offered for a short period.
Specs & Equipment
When compared to the Ninja 300 launched all the way back in 2013, only the reflector halogen headlights have been replaced with dual projector headlights, inspired from Ninja ZX-6R, promising more illumination and visibility. The tail lights and halogen turn indicators have been retained.
Also retained is the screaming 296cc parallel-twin liquid cooled engine with 39 PS and 26.1 Nm, mated to a slip and assist clutch along with a 6-speed gearbox. It still gets RSU front forks, rear mono-shock, single disc brakes at both ends with dual channel ABS, diamond frame, aerodynamic bodywork, analogue tacho (love that) and digital speedo console and other features.
