Hero MotoCorp has massive ambitions in the premium segment and has been coming with new and innovative products. The company has been setting up dedicated Premia dealerships as well. Hero’s flagship motorcycle yet, is the Mavrick 440 and the company is set to launch a more premium version of this cruiser.
We’re talking about the USD + TFT variant of Mavrick 440 which has been spied ahead of its launch. As of writing this article, Mavrick 440 is de-listed from the website, which used to be listed, despite being discontinued for around a year. Hero Mavrick 440 could launch again with a USD + TFT variant to better compete with rivals.

Hero Mavrick 440 USD Fork Variant
If a Hero Mavrick 440 USD + TFT variant rings some bells in you, that is because Hero MotoCorp showcased it at EICMA Show 2024. Then, we saw it on Indian roads undergoing a TVC shoot as Hunk 440, which is shipped to international markets. This bike has USD front forks with a Gold finish and then a TFT instrument cluster.
It is easy to dismiss these spy shots of new USD + TFT variant on Reddit posted by xtremeAnkit, as a Hunk 440 for international markets. However, the fuel tank reads Mavrick 440, which is specifically for the Indian market. This means, Hero MotoCorp will launch Mavrick 440 in the country again and could offer USD forks and TFT cluster as a new top variant or as standard.

There is a good probability that Hero might offer them as standard. We say this because a similar strategy was implied on Karizma XMR 210, where USD forks and TFT cluster were offered in ‘Top’ variant only and is now offered as standard, removing the previous base variant out of the lineup. We can see something similar with Mavrick 440 as well.
What to expect?
As part of the re-launch, Hero Mavrick 440 USD + TFT variant will come with, well, USD telescopic front forks finished in Gold shade and a portrait style TFT instrument cluster. This TFT screen is offered with Mavrick 440’s Harley-Davidson counterpart, the X440. It gets features like turn-by-turn navigation, call & SMS alerts, app support and more.

In terms of pricing, Mavrick 440 might see a slight jump in price when compared to the last recorded prices post GST 2.0 reforms. The engine will remain the same 440cc single-cylinder oil-cooled unit with 27.36 bhp and 36 Nm, mated to a slipper clutch and a 6-speed gearbox. We wish the Scrambler version of Mavrick 440 to launch soon as well. More details will follow soon.
